I’m Renee Bell and I’m a photographer.
People don’t invest in photography to get pretty pixels printed on paper. The best photographers are those that can capture the essence of their subjects and convey that essence through stunning images that will forever serve as a reminder of that moment in time.

But who is Renee? hmmm. I guess you could say that I’m all the usual answers you get in response to that question.
I’m a mum. I’m a friend. A daughter, and a sister. I’m a photographer. I’m a Taurus.

Look deeper though. I’m an artist. I’m a designer. Messy in a clean unorganised kinda way.   A tad eccentric, a little odd, i love looking at the clouds and my dress sense could only be described as… stylishly eclectic. I’m loyal, devoted and caring. I love my friends and my family. I embrace health and happiness with wide open arms. I eat organic, practice yoga as often as possible, live simply and love with ALL of my heart. I share my life with a beautiful, precious, astoundingly perfect little soul. My daughter Liana. She is by far the best parts of me. She is the reason I do what I do, I am who I am and I live how I live. She makes me want to be this happy, caring thoughtful person and together we live our lives surrounded by whimsical girliness, happy colours and wonderful people. Our lives are enveloped by those we hold dearest, the things we hold precious and the joy we find in each others company.  You can learn more about me and my life over on my personal blog.

My work… Well I have been described as a storyteller. Creating images and memories for my clients. Generating reactions of tears, laughter, joy and disbelief.  With endless patience and a delicate touch, I have the ability to turn the fussiest baby into a cocooned sleepy bundle of newborn goodness. There is a depth to my images that can only be created with a mixture of colours and textures and perfect light. With every shoot I ensure all these elements come together to create stunning images. This is no coincidence. This is hard work, years of experience and a natural eye.
