So to start it off here is a cute pic of little Henry trying to run for freedom from a family session earlier in the week….  More photos to come soon!!

The family decided on a range of photos and asked me to design them a canvas gallery for the wall in their living room.  WOW – it looked amazing – even on my messy living room floor when the delivery arrived.  They all got packed up while the family did some renovations but last week the walls were finally ready and I went and hung them all up…  Check it out :

The ceilings in this room are quite high so its hard to see the perspective of the images in photos…  We hung them a little higher than normal so as to try and keep them out of reach of the little fingers attached to the 15mth olds who like to stand on the couch & also to allow for plenty of room to expand the gallery with photos later down the track…

I would love to recommend Renee as a professional photographer for a session with your children.  It was certainly an amazing experience for our family.  She saw us on a cold rainy Sunday morning, and managed to capture each personality of my four boys perfectly in a short session.  It was noisy and crazy, but that’s how life is for us.

There were so many amazing shots that we couldn’t choose.  We’d never been to professional photographer before (can’t stand the pixie shots) and so realised that these images created by Renee were going to be a treasured moment in time for our family history.  Never again would our children be this age and it was a very special time.

We decided to gather together images for a montage on the wall of our living room.  Each image was developed on a canvas at a size determined by Renee and the whole thing balances perfectly.  We can add to the wall as they grow, so it will evolve as our family does.  Each image is guaranteed not to fade for over 100 years, and are independent art works in themselves.  We can see that when are children become adults they might take their images with them to their own homes and expand on the canvas idea with their own children.

We love the wall and others comment too.  We love our children and love having their beautiful faces captured forever.
